Papertrey Ink March Blog Hop

I have a card to share for today's Papertrey Ink Blog Hop.

Our challenge was to use these beautiful photos as inspiration:

Aren't they lovely?
I was especially inspired by the bottom left one, with the bird.
Here's my card:

I started by blending Altenew Mountain Mist & Volcano Lake inks
onto my Stamper's Select White panel.
I stamped my birds and branch stamps from Spring Woods and flowers from Brushed Blooms
onto their coordinating diecut.
I also added some leaves from Altenew's Vintage Flowers.

I stamped my sentiment (from Songbirds) in Altenew Jet Black ink.

Welcome Little Miss Croghan Blog Hop

I'm very excited to be participating in a blog hop to
celebrate the upcoming birth of Lesley Croghan's baby girl!

I was inspired to make my card using
Inspired By All the Little Things #49:

Because Lesley's having a girl, I coloured my bunny grey and my lamb beige.
I avoided the blue because she's having a baby girl. ;)

I started by stencilling the background with a MFT stencil.
I stamped the image from Neat and Tangled onto its coordinating diecut
and heat embossed it in clear.

I coloured it in using my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers and a water brush.
I adhered it to my card using dimensional adhesive.

Be sure to check out what the other participants

CAS(E) This Sketch #214

Today, I have a card to share that I made for

I decided to combine this challenge with the
 Altenew March 2017 Inspiration Challenge:

Here's my card:

i started by stamping the flower stamp from Altenew's Best Mom stamp set
in versamark on watercolour paper and heat embossed it in white.
Then, I coloured it in with my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers and a water brush.

I diecut the frame from the watercolour panel using PTI's KIS: Frame dies.
I diecut these from another piece of watercolour paper and stacked them
and then stamped the sentiment (using SSS's Wishing stamp set)
onto my back panel using the new Altenew dark grey ink.
I diecut the "wishing" (also from Simon Says Stamp) three times (twice from
PTI Smokey Shadow and once from watercolour paper)
and stacked them as well before adhering them to my card.

Inspired By All the Little Things #48

Today, I have a card to share for
Inspired By All the Little Things #48:

I was inspired to create a night time scene with my Reverse Confetti products:

I started by diecutting the sheep from All About Ewe using my
All About Ewe Confetti Cuts and stamping him in versafine onyx black ink
and heat embossing it in clear.
I coloured him in using my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers and a water brush.
I diecut the fence from All About Ewe from Free Spirit 6x6 Pad.
I added another strip of Free Spirit 6x6 Pad patterned paper and diecut
my moon using the circle die from Circle Wishes Confetti Cuts.

I stamped my sentiment in versamark and heat embossed it in white
using Outlined.
I got creative with my masking and switched out the "YOU" for "EWE"
using the "E" & "W" from the "Wishing You Well" stamp.

Papertrey Ink 10th Anniversary Challenges -- Part 2

So, this evening, I quickly whipped up another card for the
Papertrey Ink 10th Anniversary Challenges.

My card is for the challenge that was posted on March 7th:
create a card and a coordinating envelope -- and mail it!

I am terrible about giving cards!
In fact, today, when I was searching for something in one of the front pockets of my purse,
I found a card that's been in there since Christmastime that I still haven't given to a friend of mine,
even though I've seen her several times since!
But, I am bound and determined to mail this card to a friend of mine this week...

I started by blending some Altenew Frosty Pink ink onto the top of my card.
I stamped the boughs from PTI's Spring Woods in Altenew Evening Grey, Morning
Frost and Frosty Pink.
I stamped the birds (also from Spring Woods) using Frosty Pink, Coral Berry and Jet Black.

I stamped the sentiment (also from Spring Woods) in Jet Black.

For the coordinating envelope, I stamped the longer branch in the same
colours as on my card, on both sides, near the bottom of the front.

Papertrey Ink 10th Anniversary Challenges -- Part 1

I had big plans to spend the afternoon in my craft space making cards...
but Sage sprained her ankle last Wednesday (March 1st)
and it's still swollen and she can't walk on it, so
I figured it would be wise to take her to the ER to get it looked at.
Thankfully, we were only there for 3.5 hours --
and a second X-ray confirms that it's not fractured.

So, these evening, I quickly whipped up a few cards for the
Papertrey Ink 10th Anniversary Challenges.

My first card is for the challenge that was posted on March 5th:
create a project inspired by the stitched coasters that Lizzie Jones shared.

I don't have any of the stitched coaster dies, so I decided to incorporate
my square Shaker Shapes die, which has stitching lines on it, into my card.
While I do own the bicycle stitched die, I didn't want to fuss with that
when trying to make some quick cards, so I pulled out my Pedal Pusher set instead.

I masked off the square on my Stamper's Select White cardstock panel
and blended Altenew Mountain Mist ink onto it.
I left the mask in place and stamped my bicycle, using
Altenew Evening Grey, Jet Black, Lagoon and PTI Green Parakeet.

I layered the diecut square over top and added my sentiment,
also from Pedal Pusher.

Next, I made a couple of tags for Sage's teachers' gifts of Butter Crunch,
which we will be giving them on Friday at Sage's parent-teacher conferences.
as I was inspired by Rebecca's packaging to add doilies to my tags.

I diecut the doily and some aqua mist cardstock using my Tag Sale #7 die.
I stamped the sentiment (from PTI's Pedal Pusher) onto a piece
of smokey shadow cardstock and heat embossed it in white.

to incorporate multiples of a single shape into my card.
Again, as I was pressed for time, it seemed easiest and fastest
to use my PTI Hearts cover plate to make my card.

I blended Altenew Mountain Mist ink onto my background panel
and layered my diecut hearts over top.
I blended PTI Limeade Ice ink onto some cardstock and diecut it with my
Stylized Autumn die.
I stamped the fox from the same stamp set using Altenew Caramel Toffee ink.

I stamped the sentiment using a Reverse Confetti stamp set.

And lastly, I have a card for the challenge that was posted on March 12th:
to use my favourite floral set.
Now, this seems very hard to pick a favourite floral stamp set --
almost like choosing a favourite child!
But Brushstroke Blooms popped into my head almost immediately,
so I decided to go with that.

I was also inspired by the current Card Concept Challenge: Lime & Aqua:

Here's my card:

I stamped my jar using Lawn Fawn's Summertime Charm stamp set,
which I inked up in versamark and Altenew Lagoon and heat embossed in clear.
Then I masked it off and blended Altenew Mountain Mist ink onto it.
I stamped the flowers from Brushstroke Blooms in PTI Limeade Ice,
Altenew Buttercream and Mango Smoothie,
using some masks.
I stamped the sentiment from PTI's Phrases and Praises
in Altenew Mountain Mist and Lagoon.

Inspired By All the Little Things #47

Today, I have a card to share for
Inspired By All the Little Things #47:

Here's my card, using Reverse Confetti products:

I started by diecutting the Tall Stripes Panel Confetti Cuts from Cloud White Cardstock.
On a strip of Cloud White Cardstock behind that, I blended Lime Green Ink,
Iced Aqua InkTangerine InkGrape Soda Ink and Flamingo Ink with my blending tool.

I stamped the unicorn and sentiment from Unicorn Wishes
on a piece of Cloud White Cardstock that I diecut using the scalloped circle
from Pop Up Circle Confetti Cuts in verafine onyx black ink
and heat embossed them in clear.
I coloured the unicorn in using my Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers
and water brush, as well as some Delicata Golden Glitz Ink mixed with water.
I diecut the "fabulous" using You're So Confetti Cuts, which I blended with
A few wooden stars, that I pressed into my Delicata Golden Glitz ink pad,
finish it off.
