Countdown to Confetti: Worm Wishes, Toucan of Friendship & Coffee and You

Welcome, 'Fetti Fans to Day 3 of the August Release for Reverse Confetti

Because there wasn't a release in July, this month is a fantastic double release,
with seven new stamps sets & twelve new Confetti Cuts!

Today, we're showcasing three fun and adorable new sets
that all come with coordinating Confetti Cuts:
Worm Wishes, Toucan of Friendship & Coffee and You.

First up, I made some fun cards with Worm Wishes.

I started by running the new ABC Cover Panel through my diecutting
machine with my impressing mats to impress it onto my white cardstock panel.
I diecut my images from watercolour paper using the Worm Wishes Confetti Cuts
and stamped them with the coordinating Worm Wishes stamps in versafine
onyx black ink and heat embossed them in clear.

I coloured them in using my Zig Markers and a water brush and
adhered them to my card, using dimensional adhesive for the apple and the worm.
I stamped the sentiment (also from Worm Wishes) onto a strip of black
cardstock and heat embossed it in white.

Next, I used the ABC Cover Panel once again, but this time as a die.

I started with an aqua mist panel and inked it with my blending tool
and hawaiian shores and tropical teal ink to create an ombre effect
before running it through my diecutting machine with the ABC Cover Panel.
I diecut the largest scalloped circle from Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts
and on this stamped my adorable sentiment from Worm Wishes.

I diecut the rulers, pencil and worm using the Worm Wishes Confetti Cuts
and coloured them in using the same technique as above.

Next, I made a one layer card using only one image from Worm Wishes.

I love the "you colour my world" sentiment and was inspired to created a row of
coloured pencils.
I stamped them repeatedly onto my watercolour paper panel using my MISTI
and versafine onyx black ink, which I heat embossed in clear.
Again, using my Zigs and a water brush, I coloured them in, like a rainbow.

Next, I have three cards that I made using Toucan of Friendship.
For my first one, I was inspired to use the current
Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge -- Snow Cone:

I was inspired to use the colours from the photo to create my card:

I inked up my watercolour panel using two shades of ink and my blending tool.
I spritzed it with water and then used a paintbrush to move the colour around a little.
I diecut two of the new Big Stripes Tag Layer Confetti Cuts and slipped
one through the other to made a rectangular panel for my card.
On it, I stamped a sentiment from Toucan of Friendship.

I diecut the toucans (aren't they adorable? I just love them1)
from white cardstock and coloured them in suing just my Zig markers.
It's hard to tell in the photo, but I used both black and navy markers on the bodies
of the toucans so the would have more dimension.
I coloured in their beaks in the colours from the photo, in the same order
the snow cones are hanging.

And I used another new die on my second Toucan of Friendship card.

Here, I diecut my white panel using the cool new die, which is called
Circle Band Confetti Cuts.
On the watercolour panel in the background, I coloured it in using Zigs
and water.
I diecut the toucans & leaves using the Toucan of Friendship Confetti Cuts
from watercolour paper (once again stamped in versafine onyx black ink
and heat embossing them in clear.)

I used my Zigs once again to colour them in, but used a water brush this time.
This is really my favourite way to colour!
The sentiment (from Toucan of Friendship) was heat embossed in white
on a strip of black cardstock.

And for my third card, I decided to do some no-line colouring.

I started by blending ink onto my white cardstock base and layering
two frames over top using my All Framed Up Confetti Cuts.
I diecut the images from watercolour paper using the
Toucan of Friendship Confetti Cuts and stamped them using the
Toucan of Friendship coordinating stamps in soft stone ink.

I used my Zig Markers and a water brush to colour them in.
I adhered them to my card and stamped my sentiment from Toucan of Friendship
in versafine onyx black ink.

And lastly, I have a super fun card using Coffee And You:

Isn't this elephant adorable?
I swear it's cuteness overload with the stamp sets we're featuring today!
I diecut the elephant from the Coffee And You Confetti Cuts
and stamped him using versafine ink.
I heat embossed him in clear and coloured him in using my Zigs
and a water brush.

I layered him over a panel of white cardstock that I scored using my Score-Pal.
I stamped the sentiment (from Coffee And You) and heat embossed it in white
onto a strip of black cardstock.
I also coloured in a strip of watercolour paper using the same green Zig
that I used on the coffee cup and some water.

I'm super pleased with how it turned out!
